Bow down to the cuteness of this guy. This picture reminds me of the footage I've seen of them traveling in large groups. He's such a gorgeous dolphin.

Never seen one of those dolphins before and he is a beaut. Is he a common dolphin ? Love those markings the strips from his snout to his blow hole and eyes. Great capture.

Sadly no he died in October of 2007, he was rescued 11 years prior and did very well for a rescued dolphin.

wow I didn't know SW had any common dolphins... lovely shot!

What is his story if you don't mind me asking, they aren't a very common captive breed so I was wondering how he got to SW

Yeah they have had a few over the years.
Buster was rescued as a very, very young calf and was rescued successfully, but he was too young to be released. He lived a pretty long life for a rescued dolphin, but it was so sad to see him go. Parks never had enough common dolphins at one time to breed them, however there is three hybrids. Bullet, her brother CJ, are half long beaked common dolphin. CJ has one son named Aries, he is a 1/4 common dolphin.
