Bullet (a hybrid of Common dolphin and Bottlenose dolphin) and her trainer. I'd trust her, she's such an awesome dolphin <3
Taken at SeaWorld CA.

Wow, that's very interesting! A cross-breed is rare, let alone one in captivity! Her markings are very nice. Like a bottlenose dolphin with the markings of striped and common dolphins thrown into it. Lovely picture, and dolphen :+fav:

Most hybrids of cetaceans are in captivity. There's more then you might think ;)
Thank you so much!

They are? I know her now, and that wolphin of which I forgot the name. Who are the others them? I do know the white orca Chimo in captivity, but that doesn't really count as an hybrid...

Yeah, I don't think they are as strict with cross breeds. The AZA looks down upon hybrids, and parks in North America tries to avoid it.

Why would they try to avoid it? I mean, it are most of the time beautiful animals, and very special too. So that means more publicity and means that more people come and watch it so more momeny. (seen from their 'status';) So that would be only better for them, or not? By the way, what or who is AZA?
